    when we boil chana some nutrients are lost in water
    so do u have any suggestions to retain them

    1. channa should always be soaked for long time, I am sure elders in your family will agree to this as only long hours of soaking will remove anti-nutrients like phytic acid which cause bloating and digestion issues. Soaking also helps in enhancing digestibility and nutrient absorption. Hence, pressure cooking channa will help to retain the nutrients, but do not throw away the water, add enough water to cook the channa and if there is water left put on high flame and evaporate the water.
